Renato Lopena Jr is a professional perfumer with a passion for creating unique and memorable fragrances. He graduated from the Grasse Institute of Perfumery in 2015 and started his career as a perfumer for Whiff, a local brand that collaborated with a celebrity influencer for a scent called “Linger”. He also had the opportunity to work with renowned artisans such as Natalya Lagdameo, Len Cabili, and Monchet "The FanMan" Olives. In 2020, he launched Wren Atelier, a brand that offers custom-made and private collection perfumes. He also continued to expand his knowledge and skills by obtaining certifications as an aromatherapist, natural perfumer, olfaction trainer, and perfumotherapist in 2020 and 2021. He has worked with various clients, such as Kaftan Klub, Daily Hues, Neil Felipp, Francis Libiran, Arkad Gautier, Habit, and most recently Édro Manille to create scents for their respective brands. He is the first Filipino to be a member of the International Society of Perfumer-Creators, a prestigious organization of professional perfumers. Aside from this, he is also a proud pledger to the Perfumery Code of Ethics. With his passion to elevate the local perfume industry, he spearheaded and co-founded the Filipino Perfumers Society which aims to guide and educate perfumers of tomorrow.
