My love and passion for scents began when I noticed that each perfume I buy had a certain emotion or feeling connected to it. I had a perfume when I am sad, happy, or feeling good about myself. This made me want to know more about scents and the art of perfume making, so I decided to apply for the student perfumer course  in Grasse Institute of Perfumery (GIP). Luckily, I was selected as one of the 12 students for batch 2015.

After graduating from GIP, I was fortunate to get my first perfumery stint when local brand, Whiff, wanted to collaborate with me to create a fragrance (Linger) for celebrity/influencer Heart Evangelista. From then on, the brand collaborated with me to create their reimagined range and new scents such as Pine Lime Pleasure, Mango Verde, and Gardenia Bliss. I also got to create scents for notable Filipino artisans like Natalya Lagdameo and Len Cabili.

In 2019, I got selected as one of the 39 finalists (out of 80 plus applicants) to participate in the 2020 edition of international competition Corpo 35. I created a fragrance called "Memoir de Grasse", my homage to the town where I began my perfumery journey.

During the pandemic, I was commissioned by Kaftan Klub and Daily Hues for their room scents and scented candles respectively. Also, it was during this time when I wanted to tell more stories through scents; that sparked the idea of creating a brand called Wren Atelier which mainly offers bespoke scent service. I also released, Hacienderos, my final project in GIP as the inaugural scent of the brand.
